Le duo écrit des titres parfois déroutants ("Glucklick allein") mais plus souvent dans une veine qui devrait plaire aux amateurs d'un mariage entre Skinny Puppy et Oomph!. Capable de miser sur le bidouillage des sons comme sur les riffs, la paire trouve le juste équilibre également sur le chant qui sait être aussi vindicatif que mélodieux.
La ligne suivie par We Are The Line est brûlante, pesante, fuyante, aérienne, vaporeuse. Comme un rai de lumière dont la source est plus ou moins définie mais où la direction permet toutes les hypothèses. Ce rayon sonore traverse les âges de la musique électronique, empruntant les nébuleuses métalliques et froides des années 80, combinant les galaxies plus organiques et émotionnelles des années 90, agrégeant les mondes saturés de ce début du siècle.
